Welcome

My name is Andrew I am a retired journalist and a Chartered Environmentalist.

I often seek solace in the splendid embrace of nature whether wandering under the ancient boughs of a sacred grove or sitting beside a shimmering stream that mirrors the vast expanse of the sky. In these moments, every rustle of a leaf and every ripple of water becomes a silent lesson, reminding me of the profound harmony that exists when I live in tune with the rhythms of life.

My work as an urban sketcher is a journey, a journey that invites me to pause, to observe, and to wonder at the ever-changing tapestry of life woven around our urban spaces. I am a seeker of moments that are eternal in their beauty, a cityscape, a quiet street corner filled with memory, or the gentle interplay of light and shadow on weathered brick. For me, each sketch becomes a meditation, a way to honour the transient yet simple and profound experiences that make up our lives.
